Sarjeet Decors

If you’re near the Tughlakabad Metro Station, you’ve probably passed by Sarjeet Decors. We’re at C 281 in Pul Pehladpur. It’s a very busy area with the metro overhead and the constant traffic from the main road. We’ve been here for a few years now. The shop is filled with all sorts of decor items. It’s a bit of a jumble sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and showing people different fabrics or items they might want. It’s not a high-end showroom with bright lights and fancy music playing. It’s more of a practical shop where you can actually touch the things you’re looking at. The noise from the street is always there, but you get used to it after working here for a week. We have a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting and the deliveries to local houses. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in town. We just like having a shop in this neighborhood. People stop in because they’re walking to the metro or living nearby. We talk to the regulars about their houses and what they’re trying to fix up or change. It’s a simple life for us. The floors need a good sweep every few hours because of the dust from the road. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in today.
