Proprietorship - Kumar Engineers & Consultants

We’ve been running Kumar Engineers & Consultants out of our office in Vasant Kunj for a while now. It’s located at C-9/9796. The traffic in New Delhi can be a real headache, so getting to the site sometimes takes longer than we'd like. We do engineering work and consulting. Mostly, we sit at the desks and look at drawings or go out to check on how things are being built. It’s just a proprietorship. There aren't many of us here. We started this because we know the technical side of things well enough to help others out with their projects. Some days the phones don’t stop ringing, and other days it’s quiet enough to actually get some paperwork done. Vasant Kunj is a decent area to work from, close to a lot of things. We try to keep things simple. If a client calls with a problem, we look into it and tell them what the fix is. It’s not flashy work, but it needs to be done right. We deal with the local regulations and all the technical stuff that people usually find boring. We’ve had this setup for a bit and it works for us. Usually, someone is in the office by nine, but things happen. We just keep moving forward with the projects we have on hand. It's a small place but we manage to handle the workload okay without making a big fuss about it.
