Project

Our spot is in Batla House, right in the middle of Jamia Nagar in New Delhi. It’s House No. H-18/13-B. If you know Okhla, you know how tight these streets can get. There’s always the sound of rickshaws and people talking outside. Our office is small and usually smells like the tea from the stall around the corner. We do project work here, mostly sitting at wooden desks that have seen better days. It’s crowded with folders and a few old computers. The walk up to the office is narrow, but once you’re inside, it’s our own little world. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we are. Delhi is always fast and loud, but inside Batla House, there’s a specific rhythm to the day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in ledgers. It's not a polished corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a place where we get the daily work done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, and we just take a break. We know the area well and the people who live here. It’s a practical place for practical work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a local office in a very busy part of the city trying to keep everything moving.
