Our office is tucked away in Jal Vidyut Apartment in Sector-21C, right here in Faridabad. Working in the hydro sector means we deal with a lot of technical stuff regarding water power and how that all fits into the grid. It’s a specific kind of work, and being based in a residential apartment complex like B-13 makes it feel a bit more like a community than a cold office building. Most of us have been in this industry for years, seeing how the energy needs of the country keep growing. We spend our days looking over plans and making sure the projects are moving along like they should. Faridabad is a busy place, but Sector-21C is relatively organized compared to other spots. We mostly focus on the public sector side of things, which involves a lot of coordination and regular meetings. It isn't always exciting, but the work is important for keeping the lights on. We have our routines, the morning tea, the piles of reports, and the constant calls about site progress. Sometimes we travel out to the actual dams or plants, but a lot of the heavy lifting happens right here at our desks. It’s a lot of engineering talk and staying on top of the latest regulations. We just keep our heads down and get the job done without making a big fuss about it. There is always a lot of paperwork to finish by the end of the week.
