We’ve been here in Sector 16 for a good while now. It’s a quiet residential spot, House No. 59, which makes coming to work feel a bit more like home than a cold office building. Prem Chaudhery & Associates Pvt. Ltd. isn't a huge operation with fancy glass walls, but we have our desks and our files organized just how we like them. Most days start with someone opening the gates early and putting the kettle on. You can hear the neighborhood waking up while we go through the paperwork from the day before. Faridabad has changed a lot since we first set up, but this corner of Sector 16 stays pretty much the same. Sometimes the internet acts up or the courier is late, but we manage. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. It is just a group of us here, doing the work that needs to be done. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice, even if the dust from the street comes in a bit. It’s practical. There’s a printer that makes a weird noise every time we use it, but it still works, so we keep it. People know where to find us. Usually, there’s a stack of documents on the main table that we’re sorting through. It's a regular workplace with regular people. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations. Just the basics to get through the tasks.
