Posco India Delhi Steel Processing Center

This place is over in Murtikala Colony, right in Jaipur. Even though the name mentions Delhi, we are firmly rooted here in Rajasthan. The office is in D 53, near Gopalpura. It’s a bit of a maze getting here sometimes with the local traffic, but we’ve made it work. We handle the processing side of things for the steel. Usually, the phone is ringing with someone asking about an order or a delivery time. We spend most of our day looking at spec sheets and making sure the machines are running okay. It gets pretty noisy when everything is going at once. We aren't a huge team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One minute you're on the computer and the next you're helping move some crates. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on the metal going out the door. It’s a straightforward environment. We eat our tea and snacks together in the small break area. People stop by and we try to help them out as quickly as we can. It’s not a corporate skyscraper, just a regular workplace in a busy colony. We deal with a lot of paperwork and metal. That's the gist of it. We just keep our heads down and try to get the work finished by evening so we can head home.
