POOJA ELECTRONICS

We are tucked away at 612 in the Old Lajpat Rai Market. If you know Delhi, you know how packed this area gets. Our shop is small and every inch of wall space is covered with components, wires, and tools. There is barely enough room for two people to stand behind the counter at once. We spend most of our day repairing things or testing out circuits for people who drop by. The smell of solder is always there. It is a noisy place because the market outside is always full of people haggling and shouting. We have piles of old electronics in the back that we use for spare parts. Sometimes we cannot find a specific tool right away, but it usually turns up under a pile of cables. We do not have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here. Most of our work is done under a magnifying lamp because the parts are so small. We drink a lot of tea and chat with the other shopkeepers nearby. It is a tight-knit community in this market. We just keep the bench clear enough to work on the next job. It is a simple life of fixing things and talking to customers about their broken gadgets. We have seen this market change a lot over the years.
