Pink Fox Leather

Shalimar Bagh is where we've been for a while now. Most days start with opening the shutters and letting some air in because the smell of leather is really strong in the mornings. It's just a regular workshop vibe here. We spend a lot of time sitting at the benches or checking the skins that come in. Pink Fox Leather isn't some fancy showroom; it’s more of a place where things actually get done. You can see the scraps on the floor and the tools lying around. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we see the same faces walking by every day. It’s a quiet routine. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here in Shalimar Bagh if they need something made or fixed. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we usually focus more on the work at hand. It gets busy during the festive season, and then we have piles of stuff everywhere. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets too much for just a few of us. We keep the lights on late when there’s a lot to finish. It’s just how it goes. We like the area because it feels like home and everyone knows everyone else’s business. It keeps us grounded in the work we do every single day.
