Our place is located in the Avas-Vikas area, specifically in Kailash Vihar, Kalyanpur. It’s a house that we’ve converted for our Pidilite operations. Kanpur is a big, busy industrial city, and Kalyanpur is one of those spots that’s always got something going on. The address is HIG-481. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to the layout of the colony. We don’t have a flashy storefront. It’s just where the staff sits to handle the orders and the logistics for the region. We have a lot of samples lying around, mostly adhesives and sealants that we show to the contractors who stop by. The winters here are quite biting, so we usually have a kettle going for tea all day long. In the summer, the fans just move the hot air around, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We aren't doing anything fancy, just making sure the shops get their deliveries on time. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic near the highway, and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone trying to track them down and update the clients. It’s just part of the daily grind in Kanpur. We know the neighbors and the guy at the local tea stall. It’s a very grounded, local operation. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't, just people doing their jobs in a small house.
