Pecl. Mumbai

This is the spot for Pecl Mumbai, but we are actually physically here in Govindapuri, Kalkaji. I’m Ashish Kumar, and my place is at 27B/1. It’s a busy part of New Delhi. People often ask why the name says Mumbai when we are in Delhi, but that’s just how the business is set up. It’s a small office, mostly just me and a couple of others handling the work. Govindapuri is a crowded area, always people moving around and horns honking. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist. If you come here, you just knock on the door. We spend most of the day on the computer or the phone. It’s a lot of coordination between different places. We aren't some big corporate firm with a glass building. We are just working out of a regular house in Delhi. It gets very hot here in the summer, so the AC is always running. We don't have any mission statements or fancy brochures. We just tell people what we can do and then we do it. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. It’s a simple way of doing things. We try to stay out of the drama and just focus on the tasks at hand. It’s not always easy, but we make it work somehow. We are just a small team trying to get through the stack of work.
