This office is based at D-528 in Tagore Garden Extension, New Delhi-27. It is a simple place where we manage the infrastructure work for Pearls Buildwell Infrastructure Ltd. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time and we like the way things are around here. It’s not a high-rise office building, just a regular spot where we can sit down and get our paperwork done. We handle a lot of the planning and the back-end stuff for our building projects from this desk. There are usually blueprints spread out everywhere and the phone is always ringing. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the business inside and out. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things twice to make sure we didn't miss anything. We don’t use any big words to describe ourselves. We are just local builders and managers. The daily routine is pretty standard: drink some tea, call the suppliers, check the site reports, and try to keep everything on schedule. Sometimes the Delhi heat makes it tough, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We know the local shopkeepers and the people living nearby, so it feels like a community here. We aren't looking to change the world; we just want to do our jobs well and keep the business running smoothly year after year.
