Digamber Garments

Digamber Garments is located at No. 36 in the F. I. E. area of Patparganj. This is an industrial spot, so it is not very pretty around the building. There are lots of warehouses and big metal gates everywhere. We spend our days dealing with different fabrics and the sound of stitching. It is usually quite loud because of the sewing machines running in the back. We have several rows of long tables where the actual work happens. It gets very hot in the summer months, even with the big industrial fans going at full speed. We have been in Patparganj for a long time. The roads around here have plenty of potholes, so getting our deliveries in and out can be a slow process sometimes. We do not have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. It is mostly just the production floor and a small desk where we handle the ledger. Everything is stacked in bundles ready to be moved. We use bright white lights because they are better for seeing the threads and the needlework. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that is when we all take a bit of a rest. We are just regular people trying to get the orders finished on time. Sometimes we stay late when a big batch needs to go out. It is hard work, and our hands are usually tired by the evening.
