Bhagirath Palace is a famous spot in Chandni Chowk, and that’s where you’ll find Paras Surgical Company. We are at 1518/8. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know it’s packed with people and wires hanging everywhere. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We deal in surgical instruments and medical supplies. It’s a small storefront but we have a lot of stock crammed into the back and in the overhead lofts. Every morning we open up the shutters and start sorting out the orders from the day before. It’s a lot of shouting across the lane and carrying boxes through narrow gaps. We’ve been here for years, just like many of our neighbors. We don't have a website that we update or anything like that. People just know where we are. We provide equipment to clinics and small hospitals who come to us because they trust we have what they need. The tea seller comes by twice a day, and that’s when we take a quick break. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. No fancy carpets or glass doors, just wooden counters and metal shelves. We work hard to keep everything in order despite the chaos outside in Chandni Chowk. It’s our life and we’re proud of being part of this market. You get used to the noise after the first week. It is just how things go here.
