Afz Footwear Pvt. Ltd. operates out of S-22/2 Pandav Nagar. We’ve been making shoes at this location for quite some time now. It’s a practical space, mostly filled with the smell of rubber, glue, and the sound of heavy machinery. We aren't a big, sleek corporation, despite the official name. We’re really just a group of people who know how to put a shoe together so it stays in one piece for a long time. The workshop at S-22/2 is usually a bit of a mess with soles piled in one corner and boxes waiting to be filled in another. It’s how a real production place looks when work is actually happening. We spend our days watching the machines and making sure the stitching is tight. Sometimes the power goes out, which is frustrating, but we just take a break and wait for it to come back on. Pandav Nagar is a busy residential and commercial mix, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We don't have a fancy marketing department or anyone to write glossy brochures. We just focus on the shoes and the orders we need to finish. The team here has been together for a while, and we’ve all got our specific roles. It’s steady work, and we take some pride in seeing people in the neighborhood wearing things that came out of our shop.
