J. D. Hosiery

Finding us is not always easy if you are not from around here. We are tucked away at 5033 Ghas Mandi in Qureshi Nagar. The shop is right in the middle of Kasab Pura and Pahari Dhiraj. The lanes are narrow around Gali Natthan Singh and it gets crowded. J. D. Hosiery is a busy place because hosiery is something everyone needs every day. We spend a lot of our time sorting through boxes of socks and undergarments. It is a lot of stock stacked up high. The walls are a bit old and the ceiling is low, but the space works for what we need. Most of the other shopkeepers on this street are friends. We drink tea together when the morning rush finally dies down. The market is always loud with people shouting and carts moving stuff back and forth. You get used to the noise after a few days of working here. We do not have a big website or anything like that. People just know us by word of mouth mostly. We keep the shop open late most nights because that is when the local workers have time to buy things. It is a bit cramped inside with all the bundles, but we know where everything is kept. If someone asks for a specific size, we can usually find it in a minute or two. It is just a normal business in a crowded part of town. We have been doing this for years now.
