We’ve been here at 1557 Main Bazar in Paharganj for a while now. It’s always crowded outside, you know how Delhi is. We just keep the shop open and try to have enough stock for whoever walks in. Mostly people looking for stuff they can't find elsewhere or just something that looks like it belongs here. We don't have a big team or anything fancy. It is just a small place packed with different items we get from around. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the tourists go by, other days it gets quite hectic. We don't do much advertising because people usually find us while walking the main road. If you are around Paharganj, you probably passed us already. We handle everything ourselves, from opening up in the morning to locking the gates at night. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do. The shelves are a bit disorganized sometimes, but that’s because we are constantly moving things around to make space for new arrivals. We try to keep things simple. No fancy lights or loud music, just the shop and the items on the walls. It gets hot in the summer, but we have a fan that helps a bit. We don't have a website that works well, so people just come here to see what we have in person.
