Jai Mata Plastic

Jai Mata Plastic is where we spend our days, specifically at 2205/4 Chuna Mandi. If you know Paharganj, you know how tight the streets can get and how much is going on at once. Our shop is full of plastic items of every kind. We have buckets, we have bins, and we have containers stacked up high towards the ceiling. Sometimes it feels like we are living in a maze of colorful plastic. Chuna Mandi is a lively part of Paharganj. There is always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside our door. It is a very old part of the city and we have been at 2205/4 for quite a long time. We open early when the sun is just coming up and stay until things quiet down in the evening. It is hard work moving all these heavy crates around, but we are used to it by now. The air in Paharganj is always full of smells from the nearby food stalls. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It is just us and our stacks of plastic. People come in looking for simple things for their homes and we help them find the right size or color. It is a very basic way of doing business. We know most of the regular faces who walk through Chuna Mandi every morning.
