Otis Elevator Company

Down in 152-D Pocket -A of Dilshad Garden, Otis Elevator Company has a bit of a presence. This part of Delhi is residential but busy, and we’re right in the middle of it. Our work is pretty simple to explain, even if the machinery is complicated. We look after elevators. Some are in small apartment blocks and others are in slightly bigger commercial spots. It’s a lot of driving back and forth to different locations. The office is where we keep the records and plan out where everyone needs to be. It’s not a very big place, just enough for us to manage the daily grind. We deal with all sorts of issues, from minor noises to major parts that need swapping out. The guys here have been doing this long enough that they can tell what’s wrong just by listening sometimes. We don't use big words or try to impress people with fancy talk. We just show up and get the lift working again. It’s important because nobody wants to climb ten flights of stairs with groceries. We keep a humble operation here in Dilshad Garden. It’s about being reliable and getting the work finished so we can move on to the next one. That’s just how we operate. No bells or whistles, just fixing elevators so life is a little easier for the neighbors around here. It keeps us busy and the neighborhood moving.
