Oswal Retailer Pvt. Ltd. is located right in the middle of Okhla Industrial Area Phase-I at A-272. If you know this part of Delhi, you know it’s crowded and noisy from early morning until late at night. We have been here quite some time now. The office is basically where we manage the stock and talk to the people who buy from us. It gets dusty outside because of all the trucks passing by, but inside we try to keep things sorted. We handle a lot of different retail items for shops. Mostly it’s about keeping track of what’s in the boxes and what’s going out on the delivery vans. We aren't a huge corporation, just a group of people trying to make the logistics work out. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the old fan buzzing on the ceiling. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that for visitors. Just desks and shelves and stacks of paper. It’s practical. My father used to say that as long as the inventory is right, the rest will follow. We spend a lot of time on spreadsheets these days, which isn't always fun but it's necessary for the business. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that's usually the highlight of our afternoon. We’ve grown a bit over the years, but the way we do things hasn't changed much.
