Ortel Electronics Pvt. Ltd. is on the second floor of the India Mobile Plaza in the WEA area of Karol Bagh. If you know anything about Saraswati Marg, you know it is always packed with people and rickshaws. Getting up to rooms 208 through 210 involves a bit of a climb, and the stairs are usually busy with people carrying boxes of phones or parts. Our space is right in the middle of all that Karol Bagh energy. It is noisy outside, but inside we just focus on the electronics. The walls are a bit plain and we have got desks crowded with components and testing kits. We don't have a fancy waiting room for guests, usually, they just stand by the door or sit on a spare stool if one is free. The light in the hallway has been out for a week, but we know the way by heart now. It is a practical workplace where we spend most of our hours looking at circuits. We don't do much in the way of advertising because the location itself keeps us busy enough. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the building generator to kick in, which gives everyone a five-minute break to chat. It is a typical small office life where work comes first and everything else is just background noise. We just do our bit.
