Our office is on the second floor of Seth Cottage, which is number 126. We are located on Street No. 5, along Joshi Road in the Ol Bagh area of New Delhi. It’s a typical Delhi building with those narrow stairs that everyone has to navigate carefully. The neighborhood is always full of life and sounds from the street below. We’ve been here for a long time now. We mostly handle the craft and production side of things from this space. It’s not a showroom where you come to look at stuff on display. It’s where we do the actual work of organizing orders and talking to suppliers. The rooms are a bit small and we have files stacked up in the corners. We drink way too much tea during the day to stay focused. Sometimes the street gets so blocked with delivery rickshaws that we have to wait a while to get anything in or out. That’s just part of being in this part of town. Most of us take the metro or ride bikes to get here every morning. We know the other people in the building and usually say hello on the way up. It’s an honest, hardworking environment. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do what needs doing, and head home to our families. It is a simple life and we like it that way.
