Our place is located at 487 C/1-A on the third floor in Dilshaad Garden, Shahdara. Orbis Luminaires (P) Ltd. has been based here for a long time, and the climb up the stairs is something we’ve all gotten used to over the years. It’s a busy neighborhood, and there is always something going on in the streets below, from vendors shouting to cars honking. The office is basically a mix of a workspace and a storage room for all the lighting fixtures we handle. It gets a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives, and we have to stack boxes wherever they will fit. We aren't a big company with a huge staff; it’s just a handful of us who know how to put things together and make sure they work. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with orders to worry about that. Most of our days are spent checking wires or talking to suppliers on the phone. We don't use any fancy business talk or have a mission statement hanging on the wall. We just show up, do the work, and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad. It’s a simple setup in a very crowded part of Delhi. We like being in Dilshaad Garden because everything we need is just around the corner, even if it is a bit noisy at times.
