My brother and I run things here at Om Vihar. It’s a small place at B-12 in Uttam Nagar. We have been in this neighborhood for quite a long time. People around here just call us when they need something handled. We don’t have a big staff or anything like that. It is just us and a couple of helpers. The shop is usually a bit cluttered because we have stuff coming in and going out all day. We deal with whatever customers bring to us. It is mostly practical things people need for their homes or small shops nearby. Uttam Nagar is always crowded, so there is always something going on outside our door. We try to keep things straightforward. If we can do a job, we say so. If we can't, we tell you who can. We don’t like to waste time. Most of our day is spent talking to people or checking on orders. It is a simple life but it works for us. The building isn't very new, but it's sturdy enough. We have seen the area change a lot over the years. New buildings coming up and old ones being pulled down. But we stay right here at B-12. Usually, one of us is around if someone drops by. We don't use much technology here, just pen and paper and some old-fashioned hard work.
