Oikos India

Our office is tucked away in the Krishna Apartments, specifically at A-1B/99D in Paschim Vihar. It’s a residential area, so it feels more like a home than a typical business center. We’ve been running Oikos India from this apartment for a while. You have to go through the main gate of the complex to find us. It’s usually pretty busy with kids playing or people walking their dogs outside. Inside, we’ve converted a few rooms into workspaces where we handle all the orders and samples. There are boxes stacked in the hallway sometimes when a new shipment comes in. We try to keep things organized, but it gets a bit cluttered when we’re busy. The light in Paschim Vihar is nice in the afternoons, which helps when we are looking at different textures and finishes. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights; it’s just us working at our desks. Most of our day is spent talking to clients on the phone or responding to emails about decorative finishes. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to see what we are doing. We usually have some tea ready if someone stops by. It’s a comfortable way to work, even if the space is a little tight. The elevator in the apartments sometimes has a mind of its own, so we take the stairs quite a bit. It’s good exercise, I suppose. We've got our little corner of Paschim Vihar settled now, and it suits the way we work.
