Our place is at A 152 on the New Link Road in Kalkaji. NMF Equipements Plants is what we call ourselves, and mostly we handle industrial equipment and plant setups. It’s a lot of technical talk and looking at machinery specs. The office in Kalkaji is usually a bit of a mess with papers and diagrams spread out, but that’s just how we work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek lobby or fancy coffee. We just focus on the equipment. The New Link Road can get pretty jammed up with traffic, so we’ve learned to plan our site visits early in the morning before it gets too bad. It’s a small group of us here, and we’ve all been in the industry long enough to know the common problems people run into. We don't use scripts when we talk to people; we just tell them what we think will work for their particular setup. Sometimes a client comes by to talk through a project, and we just pull up a chair and go over the drawings together. It’s a very practical, hands-on kind of environment. We’ve seen other businesses come and go on this road over the years, but we’ve managed to stick around. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s a good one. We just keep our focus on the machines and getting the job done without making things more complicated than they need to be.
