Nmdc Ltd

Nmdc Ltd is located in Budhapara, Raipur. This is in Chhattisgarh. The office is right in the heart of the city, so it’s quite different from the site offices. Budhapara is an older part of Raipur with narrow streets and a lot of history. The building we are in is quite old too. It has high ceilings and large windows, though we mostly keep them shut because of the street noise and dust. There is always a lot of activity outside. Inside, it’s a bit more organized but still has that old-fashioned office feel. We have rows of desks and plenty of steel cupboards for all the documents. We don't really go for modern decor. It’s more about having a place to sit and get the work done. The staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and a few newer faces. We have a routine where we start early to beat the Raipur heat. Lunch is usually a shared affair in the small break room. We don't have a marketing department here. We just handle the administrative side of the company’s work in this region. It’s a busy, practical office where everyone knows their job. Visitors are usually people we’ve known for years. It’s a very steady and unpretentious place to work. We just focus on the task at hand and keep things moving forward through the day.
