Our office for Nina Concrete System is over in Jasola Vihar, specifically in Pocket 11 at C138. It’s a decent area of New Delhi, though getting here in the morning can be a real struggle with the traffic. We’ve been set up here for a bit, focusing on concrete work. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We spend a lot of time looking at site plans and talking to contractors. The office is usually filled with the sound of the printer going or someone on the phone arguing about a delivery schedule. We have some samples of materials sitting on the shelves, gathering a bit of dust. It feels like a real workplace, not one of those shiny showrooms you see in magazines. We don’t really have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door with a fancy coffee. You just walk in and see us working. Most of our guys are out on sites across the city anyway. We stay busy with the technical side of things, making sure the mixes are right and the applications are done how they should be. It’s a lot of detail-oriented stuff that most people don’t think about when they look at a building. We’re just a bunch of regular people trying to make sure the structures stay solid. We like to keep things simple and just focus on the tasks we have for the day.
