We are based in Delhi, which is a city that never really stops for a breath. Nielsen Resrarch Services has been around for a while now, operating from our local office. Research is a lot of looking at numbers and talking to people on the streets. It’s not always as exciting as it sounds. Mostly it’s just tedious work, making sure the data is right and that we haven't missed anything important. We don't have a big fancy building with a sign on top. We prefer to keep things low-key and just focus on the tasks we have each week. Delhi is a huge place with so many different neighborhoods, so we spend a lot of time traveling around. The traffic can be a real headache, but you learn the shortcuts after a few years. Our team is small, and we don’t use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to each other. We just want to find out what people are thinking or what the numbers are showing. Sometimes the office is a mess of papers and coffee mugs, but that’s just how we work. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or polished reports. We just give them the facts as we find them. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us on our toes every day. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to understand it a little bit better through the information we collect.
