Our office is right in Janak Puri, specifically in one of the LIG flats at D-2A/9C. It’s a standard New Delhi neighborhood, always busy and a bit loud with the traffic nearby. Nidhi Builders (I) Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a good while. We use the flat as our base of operations. It’s crowded with desks and filing cabinets, but we know where everything is. Building things in a city like this is always a challenge. There’s never enough space and the rules are always changing. We spend a lot of our time coordinating between different sites and making sure materials show up when they are supposed to. Sometimes they don’t, and then we have to figure it out. That’s just part of the job. We aren’t some big corporation with a glass building. We are just people working from a flat, trying to get projects finished on time. The neighbors know us, and we try to keep the noise down when we are in the office. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze, but it’s home for the business. We focus on the practical side of things. If something needs fixing or building, we look at it and see how to get it done without too much fuss. It takes a lot of phone calls and patience. We don't talk about grand visions, we just talk about the next load of bricks and how to get them delivered.
