New Tools & Equipments

If you head down to Kashmere Gate and find your way into Chhota Bazar, look for Krishna Gali. We’re at number 289. New Tools & Equipments is a small shop in a very busy part of town. It’s the kind of place where space is tight and every inch of the wall is covered with something. We sell tools, obviously, and all sorts of equipment that people in the trades need. It’s loud out on the street with all the rickshaws and people shouting, but inside it’s just us and the smell of metal and oil. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the neighbors all know us. We don’t have a big marketing team or a fancy website that works perfectly. We just have our stock and our knowledge of what tool works for what job. Sometimes people come in with a broken part and ask if we have a replacement, and we spend time digging through boxes to find it. It’s a bit messy, but we usually know where everything is. Running a business in Kashmere Gate means you have to be patient with the traffic and the crowds. We open the shutters early and stay until the work is finished. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do, and we’re happy to be part of the local market here. It’s a tough area to work in sometimes, but we’ve grown used to the chaos and the pace of the bazaar.
