New Shatabdi Fashion

If you find yourself in the middle of Kinari Bazar at number 2921, that is where we are. New Shatabdi Fashion is right in the heart of Old Delhi. This place is famous for all the laces, borders, and wedding stuff, and we’ve been part of that for a while. The shop is narrow, like most places around here. We have boxes stacked up to the ceiling in the back. It can be hard to move around when we get a new shipment in from the suppliers. Every morning starts with opening up the heavy metal shutters and sweeping the front step. The streets here are so thin that you can barely fit a cart through, let alone a car or a big van. It’s always loud with the sounds of the market and people shouting. We spend our time showing different samples to people who are looking for specific fashion items for their designs. It’s a lot of talking and bargaining throughout the day. We don't have a computer system for everything; a lot of it is still written down in big ledgers with a pen. The air is always a bit dusty, and it gets really hot in the summer, but we have a small fan that helps a little bit. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share snacks or tea in the afternoons. It’s a community of people who have been doing this for generations. We just try to keep our stock interesting and make sure we don't lose track of orders in the chaos of the bazar.
