New Era Industries

So we are located on the third floor of building 29/5 over in West Patel Nagar. Climbing those stairs keeps us fit, I guess, since the lift is hit or miss. It's a standard New Delhi-08 setup. We share the floor with a couple of other small businesses, so it gets noisy during the day. New Era Industries has been operating out of this room for a few years. It’s mostly just me and two other guys. We have a small window that looks out over the street, though there isn't much to see besides wires and the tops of cars. We drink a lot of chai to keep going. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time. We do our work, talk to the vendors, and try to stay organized. It's not a showroom or anything, just a workplace. Sometimes customers come by to pick things up directly to save on delivery. We don't mind. West Patel Nagar is a good area, lots of stuff happening nearby. We try to leave by six to beat the worst of the traffic, but that rarely happens. Usually, we end up staying late to finish the logs. It's a living. We don't have big speeches about what we do. We just do it. Simple as that. The desk is cluttered with receipts and old pens. That's just the way it looks. It works for us anyway.
