New Delhi Municipal Corporation

Our office is located at 4/1076 in Sir Syed Nagar, which is right here in Aligarh. Even though the name says New Delhi, this is the actual place where we are based for this particular branch. The building is an older one, with those high ceilings and heavy wooden doors that you don't see much anymore. It is a bit of a maze inside if you are not used to the layout. We handle a whole lot of paperwork and various local issues every day. People are always coming in with questions or things that they need to get sorted out. We try our best to listen and help them, but sometimes there is just a lot of red tape that we have to deal with. That is just the way things work here in U.P. The street right outside is usually packed with people, cycles, and rickshaws. It gets quite loud, especially during the middle of the day. We have fans running all through the summer months just to keep the air moving a little bit. Our desks are usually covered in files and folders. We do not use many fancy computers here; a lot of it is still done by hand in big ledgers. The staff here has been around for many years. We know most of the people who come in frequently and they know us too. It is very much a community thing. We don't have any marketing or promotional stuff. We just provide the services we are supposed to and take it one day at a time.
