We are based at A 159 on Vikas Marg, taking up both the second and third floors. It’s a lively spot because Vikas Marg is always packed with traffic and people going about their business. Being in the media and news world, specifically for electronics, means our desks are usually covered in magazines, wires, and random gadgets we’re looking at. The office has that lived-in feel, with stacks of old issues piled up in the corners and notes taped to almost every surface. It’s a lot of work, writing and editing all day long. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a polished lobby. You just walk up the stairs and you’re right in the middle of where everything happens. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just the nature of the job. We have a small crew of writers and editors who have been working together for a long time. We know each other’s habits and who makes the best tea in the afternoon. We don’t try to sound like a giant corporate news outlet. We’re just a local team that enjoys what we do. The third floor gets a bit hot in the summer because the sun hits it directly, but we have a few old fans that keep the air moving. It’s a busy, messy, and honest place to work. We just focus on getting the next story out on time and keeping the readers informed.
