You can find us at 1554 Church Road, right in the heart of Kashmere Gate. This area has so much history, and the streets are always packed with people looking for parts. We’ve been running New Age Electronics from this spot, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the boxes we keep. We sell all sorts of electronic components. If you need a specific resistor or a cable, we probably have it buried somewhere in a drawer. The shop isn’t the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. It’s noisy outside with the traffic from the gate and the metro nearby. We like the energy of the market, though. We’ve got regulars who have been coming to us for years just to see what’s new or to replace something that burnt out. We don’t do a lot of advertising. Most people just hear about us from someone else in the trade. We try to keep our prices fair because we know how it is for the small repair shops. Sometimes we sit on the stools and just talk about how much technology has changed since we first opened. It’s a simple life selling wires and boards. We just stay open until the sun goes down and the market starts to quiet down a little. The old fan in the corner hums all day.
