A-287 in Defence Colony is where you’ll find Neo-Neon Lighting & Designs Pvt. Ltd. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to some of the main roads in Delhi. We work out of this space, focusing on lighting designs and neon work. It’s more of a creative spot than a factory. We have sketches on the walls and various neon tubes laying around. Working with neon is a bit of a craft, so the place has a bit of an artistic mess to it. We aren't trying to look like a high-end corporate office. We just have our work tables and our design software. Most of the time, we’re just figuring out how to make a specific light fit a certain space. Defence Colony is a nice area to be in, and being at A-287 gives us enough room to breathe. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic, which is fine because we’re usually deep into a project. We handle the design part and the technical side of the neon. It’s a small team, and we all do a bit of everything. Sometimes we’re bending glass, other times we’re just answering emails. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make lights that look a certain way. It’s a decent place to work, and we’ve been here long enough to feel like part of the neighborhood. That is just how we do things here.
