National Hardwares

You can find National Hardwares over in Pahar Ganj. We are located at G-4 in Essel Chambers, which is on Gupta Road. If you’ve ever walked around this part of Delhi, you know how packed and narrow the streets can get. Our shop is full of all kinds of metal parts, tools, and things people need for fixing buildings. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves reaching up to the ceiling. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, things tend to get moved around. We’ve been in Essel Chambers for quite some time now. Most of our customers are local contractors or people living nearby who need a specific bolt or a new hinge. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Usually, people just walk in and ask for what they need. Sometimes we have to dig through a few boxes to find the right size. It’s a dusty place, as hardware shops usually are. We open up early and stay late most days. The noise from the street is always there, but we’ve gotten used to it. We just sell what people ask for and try to keep enough stock on hand. It’s a simple way to run a business. We know many of the faces that come through the door because they’ve been shopping here for years. It's just a regular local shop in this part of the city that we like.
