Our office is one of the Janta Flats in GTB Enclave, right here in Delhi. It’s a compact space, but it serves our needs just fine. Being in East Delhi, near the hospital and the main markets, means there is always a lot of activity outside our door. We’ve been based in this flat for a while, and it feels more like a home than a strict workplace. We have a few desks squeezed in, and the shelves are full of old files and manuals. The corporation handles various tasks, and there’s usually a lot of back-and-forth communication going on throughout the day. Delhi summers are tough, especially in these smaller flats, so the cooler is always running. We get our lunch from the local stalls nearby, and sometimes we have meetings over a cup of tea on the small balcony. It’s not the kind of place you see in movies about big businesses. It’s real and a bit messy, with papers everywhere and phones ringing at odd hours. We know the other residents in the enclave, and they know us as the guys who are always working. We don't spend money on fancy decor because we’d rather just get the job done and keep things moving. It's a small team, but we've been together for a long time, so we know how to work around each other's quirks. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play cricket right outside our window during the evenings.
