About Naman Awnings – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Delhi
We've been at H-1/135 Jahangir Puri for a while now. Most days it's just us handling the fabric and frames for the sun shades. It gets pretty busy in the shop, especially when the weather starts getting hotter and everyone realizes they need some cover for their windows or shop fronts. We mostly just work with what people ask for. Sometimes it's a simple fix, other times we are putting together a whole new frame. The space here is a bit tight but we make it work. It's mostly just regular hands-on stuff. We don't really have a big showroom or anything like that. People usually just drop by the workshop in Jahangir Puri when they need something done. We've got the tools and the materials piled up in the back. It’s a lot of cutting and measuring. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the metalwork by noon. If you walk past H-1/135, you’ll probably see us outside with some fabric spread out on the floor. We try to get things done when we say we will, though sometimes the material takes a day or two to arrive. That's just how it goes here. We aren't doing anything fancy, just standard awnings that do the job. It's honest work and keeps us busy throughout the week. Most of the neighbors know us by now. We just stick to our corner and keep the sewing machines running and the frames moving.
