Revati Fashion is situated at No. 1810/7 in Balaji Bhawan. This is in the Vaidwara area of Maliwara, which is right near the famous Nai Sarak. If you’ve ever been to Nai Sarak, you know it’s one of the busiest places you can find in the whole city. It’s absolutely packed with people and shops and rickshaws. Getting to Balaji Bhawan can be a real challenge in the afternoons when the crowd is at its peak. At Revati Fashion, we are very used to the chaos of Maliwara. Our space at 1810/7 isn't very big at all, but we make the most of every inch we have. There are piles of fabric everywhere and that distinct smell of old paper and dust. I’ve been working in this part of town for years now. You get a thick skin for the noise and the crowds after a while. We spend our days at Revati Fashion talking to various suppliers and checking the quality of what comes in the door. It’s a lot of standing around and talking, really. Vaidwara is a maze of small lanes, and Balaji Bhawan is just one of many old buildings in the stack. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that hum all day long. It’s a bit of a daily grind, but we like it. We have our regulars who know where to find us at No. 1810/7.
