Rangoli

Rangoli is located on the first floor at 4424/2 in Guru Nanak Market. We are right in the Nai Sarak area, which is always crowded. There are two HDFC banks nearby, so that is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. The market is very old and the stairs up to our shop are a bit narrow and steep. Inside, we have a lot of clothes and textiles stacked up. It is a bit of a maze with all the bundles of fabric. We have been in Nai Sarak for a long time. It is a famous place for cloth, so we fit right in. The noise from the street vendors and the rickshaws is constant. We do not have much space, so every corner is filled with something. Sometimes it is hard to find where we put a specific roll of cloth. My brother and I run the place mostly. We drink tea with the other shopkeepers in the mornings. It is a very traditional way of doing business here. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just come in because they know we are here. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to move everything out of the way. It is just a busy, dusty, honest little shop in the middle of a big market.
