N C R Promart Co is located at number 9 in West Guru Angad Nagar, which is a part of Lakshmi Nagar that feels like a maze sometimes. The streets are narrow and if two cars meet, nobody can move for ten minutes. Our office is just a simple room with a few desks and a lot of files stacked up against the wall. I’ve been meaning to get a new bookshelf, but we just haven't had the time to go out and pick one. The light comes in through a small window that faces the alleyway, so it’s never particularly bright inside. We use those long tube lights that flicker for a second before they stay on. It’s a bit of a walk from the metro station, so I’m usually pretty tired by the time I get in. There is a small shop downstairs that sells biscuits we like, and that’s where most of our snack money goes. The phone rings a lot, but it’s usually just people asking where we are located exactly. I tell them to look for the big blue gate and then turn left. We don’t have a big sign or anything fancy. It’s just a place where we do our daily work and try to keep things organized. Some days the internet is slow and we just sit around talking until it comes back. It's not a big fancy operation, just us doing what we can in this small corner of the city. We've been here a while and I don't see us moving.
