M/S Soma Enterprise Ltd.

This specific branch of Soma Enterprise is tucked away near Tuglak Road in New Delhi. We are working on the DMRC project, so things are usually pretty hectic around here. The office is right near the Race Course area, not too far from the Lalu Prasad residence. It's an interesting part of the city to be in, very central but also very busy with traffic and high security. Because of the metro work, we are always on our toes. There’s a lot of coordination involved with the Delhi Metro stuff. Our team stays in a temporary setup near the site mostly. It isn't a place for meetings with fancy coffee; it's a place where we wear boots and hard hats. We spend a lot of time on the phone or walking the site lines to check progress. The heat in Delhi during the summer makes the work tough, but the project has to keep moving regardless. We have a mix of engineers and laborers coming in and out all day long. Dealing with the city infrastructure means there is always some new challenge, like a pipe in the wrong place or a sudden road closure. We just handle it as it comes. It's not a glamorous job at all, but we've been at this spot for the duration of the project. We’re just a bunch of people trying to get the rails laid down correctly and on time. It is a long process.
