Our main spot is H.No. 32/B-5 in Sector-3, Rohini, which is right in the heart of one of the busiest parts of New Delhi. Being in a residential sector makes the office feel quite approachable, and we are used to the neighbors and the local market activity just outside our door. At Sms Paryavaran, the focus is usually on environmental projects, but the daily reality is a lot of paperwork, government filings, and phone calls to site engineers. The office is often a bit cluttered with folders and large-scale maps because we have a lot of moving parts to keep track of at any given time. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or modern furniture; it is mostly just functional desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use. Delhi winters are nice here, but during the summer, we are all just trying to stay cool while we figure out logistics for projects that are often located in pretty tough terrain. We have a mix of younger staff and people who have been in the industry for decades, so there is always a bit of a debate going on about the best way to handle a specific technical issue. It is a very hands-on place to work where nobody is afraid to get their hands dirty or stay late to finish up a report that needs to go out.
