We’re located over in Khirki Extension, which is a pretty unique part of New Delhi. Our office is at JD/18, B1, on the third floor. If you've been to Khirki, you know the lanes can be a bit narrow and confusing if you aren't from around here. We’ve been in this space for a while. It is a bit of a climb up to the third floor, but it gives us a bit of a view of the street below. We work on various things for Schindler India from this spot. It’s a working office, so don't expect any fancy furniture or art on the walls. We have our computers and our notebooks and that is about it. The sounds of the neighborhood come through the windows—people talking, scooters zooming by, all that. It keeps us grounded. We don't really use corporate jargon here. We just talk like regular people and get our work done. Some days are stressful when deadlines are tight, but we usually manage to get through it. It is a simple place where a small team handles a lot of details. We like being in Delhi, even with all the heat and the crowds. It’s where we feel most at home. We just do our bit every day and then head out when the sun goes down. It's a plain office for plain folks who know how to work hard and keep things moving.
