M/S RISHAB IMPORTS

M/S Rishab Imports is based on the first floor of a building at 2261, H.C. Sian Marg. If you have ever been to Chandni Chowk, you know how it is. The streets are narrow and there are people everywhere carrying big bundles of stuff on their backs. Our office isn't very large, but we pack it full of whatever we have brought in. The walls are lined with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We spend a lot of time climbing ladders to pull down items or to put new stock away. It is a bit of a maze in here. The light isn't great, but we have enough lamps to see what we are doing. We mostly deal with wholesalers who come in to see what is new. It involves a lot of talking, tea drinking, and writing things down in ledgers. We still use paper books for a lot of our tracking because it feels easier than the computer sometimes. Delhi weather is tough, so we have a small cooler that struggles to keep the room comfortable in June. The noise from the street below never really stops until very late at night. We arrive early to beat the worst of the crowd and stay until we have sorted out the day's deliveries. It is just a regular trading business in the heart of the old city. We keep to ourselves and focus on the stock we have on hand.
