Our little setup is located right in the middle of Chirag Delhi at house number 629/1. If you know the area, you know how narrow the lanes can get and how busy it stays from morning until late at night. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when supplies come in, but we make it work. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time, and the neighbors all know us by now. It’s mostly just a few of us here handling the industrial supplies and keeping the registers updated. There isn’t a big sign out front or anything like that. You just walk up the stairs and you’ll find the door. Delhi gets incredibly hot in June, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning before the sun really starts hitting the building. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, which is just part of living in this part of the city. We keep a cooler in the corner with cold water for anyone who stops by. It’s a simple operation without any of those big corporate offices or glass walls. We just focus on the orders we have for the day and try to get them finished on time. It feels more like a home office than a factory most days, which suits us just fine. The clutter of papers on the desks shows how much we actually have going on.
