We are located in the heart of the auto parts market at Kashmere Gate. Specifically, Motor Lamp Auto Electricals is over in the Guru Nanak Charitable Trust Market on Nicholson Road. If you’ve ever been down here, you know it’s one of the busiest and most chaotic places in Delhi. There are motorcycles, carts, and rickshaws everywhere, and the noise is constant all day. Our shop at 27A-28 is where we handle all kinds of electrical parts for vehicles. It’s a tight space packed from floor to ceiling with boxes of lamps, wires, and various switches. We don't have a lot of room to move around, but we know exactly where every single part is stored in the stacks. Most of our day is spent talking to mechanics and retailers who need specific parts right away to finish their jobs. It’s a fast-paced environment and you really have to be quick on your feet to keep up with the demand. We don’t use any fancy management systems or computers for everything; it’s mostly just us knowing our stock and dealing with people face-to-face. The air is thick with the smell of exhaust and old cardboard boxes. It’s a gritty, honest way to make a living. We’ve been here for many years, and we’ve seen plenty of shops come and go, but we just keep doing what we know. It’s just parts and people and getting through the day without too much trouble.
