Shanker Garments

We are located at B 23 Moti Nagar. It is a pretty simple setup we have here. Mostly we spend our time working on different types of clothes. There are sewing machines running most of the day, so it can get a bit noisy inside. People come in to see what we are making or to talk about orders they need. We do not have a big fancy showroom, just the workspace where all the actual work happens. The neighborhood is usually quite active, and we fit right in with the other shops around us. Sometimes we run behind on things when the machines act up, but we usually manage to fix them ourselves. It is just a small team of us working here every day. We handle the cutting, stitching, and finishing right on these tables. My father started this place, and we have just kept it going the same way. We do not use any high-tech systems, just our hands and the old machines that still work fine. A lot of our day is spent making sure the sizes are right and the threads are clipped. It is not glamorous work, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We like being in Moti Nagar because everything we need is close by. We do not really try to be anything we are not. We just make garments and try to stay organized enough to get through the week. It is a basic operation but it works.
