You’ll find Sachdeva Trading Co. up on the first floor of Shabi Market, over in Mori Gate. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the hallway can be a little cramped when the neighbors have their stock sitting out, but we make it work. No. 3682/30 has been our base for a good bit now. Mori Gate is always buzzing, cars honking and people shouting, so it’s never exactly quiet around here. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and desks. We trade in a lot of different things depending on what's moving, so the inventory changes pretty often. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll see us on the phones or checking through the ledgers. It’s honest work. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a minute, or the rain leaks a little near the window, but that’s just the charm of an old market building. We aren't big on formalities. If you need something, we look for it, and if we have it, we sell it. It’s straightforward. Most of our day is spent making sure the orders are right and the trucks get loaded correctly down on the street. It’s a lot of back and forth, but it keeps us busy. We don't really mind the hustle, even if it gets exhausting by five.
